TAPE CLEAN UP AND CONVERSION SERVICE

What is this you may ask? READ ON

Before the advent of the mp3 format there was cd and before this was analogue tape.  Many of you will still have precious recordings on tape that you would still like to keep and listen too.

These could be anything from baby’s first words to an old dj mixtape.

Unfortunately these will not last forever.  After a period all analogue tape recordings begin to degrade.  Over a short time analogue audio tapes oxidise and eventually become unlistenable and unplayable. Many recordings are of low quality and have background hiss or distortion.

THIS IS WHERE WE COME IN

Not only can we preserve your old recordings but we can digitally clean them up and enhance them, in many cases making them sound better than you ever heard them before.

Using state of the art audio restoration techniques and methods we can virtually eliminate all traces of hiss, background noise, hum and much more.

Now is the time to save your precious recordings.

Don’t delay, your audio cassettes are degrading right now.

Do you really want to lose them?

This is ideal, not only for yourself, but as a gift for friends and relatives.

HOW WE DO IT

As all recordings have greatly differing levels of quality it is not always possible to make great improvements on the original.

When you send us your tape we will first analyze a section and determine if it merits carrying out a full restoration. We will then provide you with this sample to see if you wish us to continue. If so we will perform all the necessary technical processes then master it onto CD or back to tape if preferred.

Initially we only ask you to send us your tape, we do not require any payment at this point. When you have heard the sample and are satisfied with what we can do we will then ask for payment to perform the full service.

If you don`t want us to perform a full restoration for any reason we will return your tape (minus the return postage fee).

HOW TO GET IT TO US

We cannot be responsible for damaged or lost material in the post.  As such we recommend sending by Royal Mail Special Delivery (NOT registered or recorded) or similar trusted delivery service. Using the minimum of a securely sealed padded envelope.

We will normally be able to return your original and newly restored version within 3 – 4 working days.
