Ahh... this is an interesting version of the "Pink Spider" we all know and love. XD It's got a much slower beat to it than the original, and is actually pretty techno-y and electronic. Probably because it's from the electronic remixes CD. XD; Pretty much all that you can hear being "said" is "pink spider" over and over again, in a distorted techno voice you'll probably recognize. And then every once in a while hide's voice will come in, singing those same words, but more distorted-like and all. I don't really know what to think of this song... o.o; I mean, it's cool to listen to a few times, but it's definitely not something I would put on a CD for driving around with. But meh, I guess you'll just have to find out for yourselves if you like it or not. :P

Violet UK, as you've probably heard before, is another band of Yoshiki's. This band is very much more on the classical side of music than, say, X Japan, but it's still really nice. So of course, this song is pretty slow, with Yoshiki's piano in the background and the vocalist (who I presume is Nicole, in this song at least?)'s very soft voice. The entire thing's in English, just like all Violet UK stuff (which is actually why he added the "UK" to the name, I just found out), and generally it's just very pretty and relaxing. Recommended if you want to lean back and rest. n.n
ELLEGARDEN [r]
Yaay, ELLEGARDEN! ♥ These guys are doing some concerts in New York, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, and Oregon from March 20 - 27 if you didn't know! I'm gonna be at the New York show... :D If you wanna find more info about any of those concerts, go to their
! 8D But yeah, these two songs are the other tracks on their latest single,
Space Sonic, and I really like 'em! "Stereoman" is really nice and upbeat, and, as you've probably come to expect, is in English. It's generally very jump-up-and-down-style, with an occassional slower part thrown in for a little bit of contrast. "Mr. Feather" is a lot calmer at the beginning, with only a few strings being plucked and the vocals going softly. But then it picks up after a little while, and then goes back to the string-plucky-ness. The lyrics... well. They make me chuckle, like pretty much every other song they've made in English. XD But it's still a really nice song that I'd definitely recommend. :3
GOING UNDER GROUND [r]
These guys are great! They don't get hardly enough recognition, though. u.u "Getsuyoubi Ame no Melody" is pretty fun, and I can definitely picture an audience of people bopping their heads left and right to the guitar. XD This one will definitely get in your head, let me tell you. XD The vocals are kind of cutesy for a guy, but I think it actually fits well with the music here. It's just generally a happy, feel-good sounding song, and you should try these guys out. :D Now "Sentiment Express" is the song of theirs that really makes me smile. It was the first GUG (Ha, GUG XD) song I'd ever heard, and I really recommend it. The vocals aren't cutesy here, and are actually rather nice. It's upbeat without being hardcore, and the vocals are pretty soothing. I guess you could compare them to the singer of Quruli, or maybe even Suneohair. If you want to try these guys out (which you definitely should), I would suggest getting "Sentiment Express" if you've got to choose only one. ^^b

Ahh, m-flo. Boy do they love to do songs with other artists. XD This is another one of those, with Crystal Kay, but I have to admit I do like it. It's more what some people would call hip-hop or something, but I'm not too good at classifications of this type, so I don't know what to call it. XD Crystal Kay's smooth voice actually fits in very nicely with these two guys' rapping... but don't let the word "rap" put you off from trying this out. XD It's got a general feel-good quality to it, and I can definitely see people getting up and dancing to it. This is generally not the kind of music I listen to, but I do like it nonetheless. Try it out!
Nightmare [r]
Ah, so a request was made for more Nightmare songs like "Raven loud speeeeaker," but I'm not exactly the world's biggest Nightmare fan so that was kind of tough for me to choose. >> But um... yeah, these songs are nice I suppose. XD I have to admit I'm not too fond of Yomi's voice, but at points it's not too bad. "remembrance" is pretty nice, a slower type of upbeat if you know what I'm talking about. XD I do like the guitars in this song, but again, if Yomi's voice were just a little bit different I think I would like the whole thing a lot more >>; But then there's like... this random record-scratching or something at points. Which is really weird. But whatever. XD "Dasei Boogie" I actually really like. :O It's just groovy. XDD Makes me want to get up and swing dance or something! XD While again Yomi's voice could use a little improving, it's not too bad here. The thing I love about it most is the little guitar tune, and you'll definitely know what I'm talking about once you listen to it. Definitely pick this one up if you don't have it already. :D
