I. Confirmation Retreat (for Holy Name and Holy Family)

A. This will be at the beginning of May

B. There will be about 6 participants from Holy Name and Holy Family

C. The kids will be Confirmed on May 31 (Tuesday)

1. Suggestion: All who are involved in the Confirmation Retreat should attend the ceremony

2. Fr. Nick & Maria have asked our Music Ministry to play at the Confirmation Ceremony so the kids can sing along to songs they learned at the retreat.

a) We mentioned that our Music Min. plays at OLGC at the 5:00 PM Mass
*Apparently, Lourdes Garcia is in charge of these retreats, but we can also contact Maria.

II. YOUTH MASSES

A. Fr. Nick said how we can probably help out with their choir, so they’ll be working with Music Ministry.

B. We have 3 masses to attend and announce our March Camp:

1. Saturday, February 19, 2005
       - 5:00 P.M.
       - 1st announcement about CFC-YFC March Camp
       - prepare speakers (Anthony and Carmela will be able to speak at this Mass about the camp.)

· THEY DON’T NEED US TO SING AT THIS MASS, BUT YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THE CHOIR

· Music Min for Sunday = K-Anne, Daniel, Skwirrel, Victor, Carmela, Anthony, Lilia, Kathleen (?), Charles, Roanne (?), Rob Trigo (?)

· Music Min Practice @ 6:00 PM at Holy Name (after 5:00 PM Mass) – please try to be there… It’s not *mandatory* but recommended. The songs approved for Mass are in listed in section IV of these notes.

· We’re invited to the parish’s Chinese New Year Dinner right after this Mass – head over after music practice if you want. J

       - 9: 00 AM & 11:00 A.M.
       - 2^nd & 3rd announcements about CFC-YFC March Camp
       - prepare speakers (Anthony & Carmela will make an announcement at the 9:00 AM Mass * WE NEED SOMEONE TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE CAMP @ THE 11:00 MASS!!!! *) and Music Ministry to play for only the 9:00 AM Mass!! Yes, we’re only announcing at the 11:00 AM Mass! We are allowed to sing along with the organis at the 11:00 Masst if we want, though.

· We’re invited to the parish’s pancake breakfast after the 9:00 AM Mass

C. An announcement will be included in this week’s parish bulletin about these Youth Masses.
