Couple clones with similar characteristics and situations as Cloud and Aerith. I believe I had a lot more, but I cannot remember all of them, so this is just what comes to mind.
Christian x Satine
It was around the time when this site was first up, I saw Moulin Rouge, and immediately after, it reminded me of Cloud and Aerith. It was mostly because of the tragedy that followed the deaths of Aerith and Satine. And how absolutely devastated Cloud and Christian were. They both seek isolation after their deaths.
John x Natalie
In the Cloud clone section, I explained how John was similar to Cloud, and in that sense, a female a character comes along and in attempt to break open their shell. Cloud became bitter after the destruction of Sephiroth, and John growing up without a father. Aerith and Natalie are the only ones to open them up.
Laguna x Raine
Probably my favourite couple from FFVIII. I think these two were a bit like Cloud/Aerith towards the end of Raine's life. Although Cloud and Aerith never got to together and had a kid, they did indeed become close and Laguna and Cloud are heart broken when they die. At the end of FFVIII, Laguna revisits Raine's grave, and Cloud still lingers with the hope of meeting Aerith again.
Yamato x Mimi
Umm.. I never understood why people thought these two were a great couple. I never liked the idea, but I see how they are similar to Cloud and Aerith only because they look like them, but I always liked the idea of Mimi with Koushiro.
