Other characters from different series who remind me of Cloud, and act similar to him.
John McBain
This is John McBain from One Life to Live. When he was younger, his father was murdered, and John spent 25 years looking for his killer, as Cloud spent many years hunting down Sephiroth for killing his mother. After John finally got his answers, he was in a terrible car crash and presumed dead. However, John is still alive, but was badly burnt in the collision, and remained in the hospital. Cloud was in an accident where he disappeared into the Lifestream, and ended up getting Mako poisoning. Both characters act similar, considering their past, they grow up bitter and reluctant to express any emotions.
Jason Morgan
Jason Morgan from General Hospital. Not only in real life does Steve Burton talk for Cloud in many spin-offs of FFVII and is a fan of the series, but his character on this show reminds me of Cloud. Both Jason and Cloud have trouble expressing their feelings. Jason only acts that way because he was in a car accident that left him some brain damage. Both also have an interest in riding motorcycles.
Yamato Ishida
Hah! I remember when everyone said Cloud looked like Yamato/Matt from the first two Digimon seasons. He does, and he acts like him a bit too. Yamato was cold and bitter in the beginning, as well was Cloud.
